Job Description Apprentices – Prefabrication ShopPortable Power Unit AssemblySchedule: Fulltime | Monday–Friday (No field travel)Pay: Competitive, based on experienceAbout the RoleWe are seeking a JourneyLevel Electrician to join our prefabrication shop, building portable power units used to support industrial and commercial job sites. This is a shopbased position focused on quality, consistency, and efficiency—ideal for an electrician who enjoys structured work, repeatable builds, and working with detailed specs.You will be responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components in a controlled shop environment.What You'll Be DoingBuild and wire portable power units from prints, schematics, and bills of materialInstall panels, breakers, transformers, receptacles, disconnects, and control componentsPerform terminations, labeling, and cable management to specTest completed units for proper operation and complianceTroubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary correctionsFollow workmanship, safety, and quality standards at all timesCollaborate with shop leads, engineers, and QA as neededWhat We're Looking ForJourneyman Electrician license or equivalent experienceStrong knowledge of:Low and mediumvoltage systemsPanel wiring and distribution equipmentNEC requirements and best practicesAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematicsExperience with prefab, panel shop, or industrial electrical work preferredComfortable working independently in a shop settingAttention to detail and pride in clean, professional buildsWhy This Role?
