Tuesday to Saturday 11:00 p.m. to7:00 a.m. DAYS OFF: Sunday and Monday (Subject to Change) LOCATION: BSUCampus Wide This is an essential position. \*Initial assignment only.Subject to change according to institutional needs. Salary: \$1,706.74bi-weekly (Grade 10 - Step 1) Key Responsibilities: - Maintain awelcoming environment for individuals from diverse backgrounds. -Perform detailed custodial maintenance of academic, residential,administrative, research, athletic, dining, and campus facilities. -Clean and sanitize restrooms and showers. - Sweep walkways, vacuum,shampoo carpets, scrub, wax, and buff floors. - Polish furniture andwoodwork. - Move and reset furniture in residential and academicbuildings. - Remove trash, including broken furniture and materials. -Conduct indoor/outdoor maintenance tasks, including snow removal. -Participate in large-scale cleaning and maintenance projects. -Collaborate effectively with colleagues to support universityoperations. Required Qualifications: - Commitment to customer serviceexcellence, equity, diversity, and inclusion. - Experience working withpeople from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. -Passion for social justice, racial justice, and civic engagement. -Ability to follow instructions and work safely. - Knowledge of orability to learn proper cleaning techniques and equipment usage. -Physical stamina, ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and shovelsnow. - Ability to stand for prolonged periods. - Strong interpersonalskills to interact tactfully with students, faculty, and staff. - Basiccomputer skills or willingness to learn. - Current and valid DriversLicense.
