Thermal Structural Engineer (HYBRID) Hot Job

As a Thermal Structural Engineer, you will apply your expertise in thermal-structural modeling, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer to simulate and analyze gap requirements in large gas turbines, as well as evaluate overall engine thermal behavior. Youll be part of a global engineering team supporting both new product development and service-related initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate closely with project managers, component engineers, and cross-functional partners in manufacturing and service to deliver robust, high-performance solutions. How Youll Make an Impact. Use in-house and commercial simulation tools to:Development/evolution/maintenance of whole engine computational models that simulate thermo-mechanical behavior of components in gas turbines. Simulate transient heating and expansion of the entire engine to determine optimal assembly gaps especially between rotating and stationary components.
