We're currently hiring a Solder / Assembly Technician for a manufacturer of welding tools and products located in Pearland, TX.This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in precision work, has a strong mechanical mindset, and wants to build a stable career in manufacturing.Position SummaryThe Solder / Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, soldering, and inspecting components used in welding equipment and related products. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and a commitment to consistent attendance and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform soldering on small components and assemblies using hand tools and soldering equipmentRead and follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to assemble parts accuratelyConduct basic quality checks to ensure parts meet specificationsMaintain a clean and organized work areaWork closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goalsFollow all safety protocols and company policiesExhibit reliability and consistent attendance - especially within the first 90 days of employment QualificationsExperience:Prior soldering experience preferredMechanical aptitude required - experience with small tools, assembly, or manufacturing is a plusEducation: High school diploma or equivalentRequirements:Valid driver's license (no exceptions)Clean background - no offenses everReliable transportation to and from the worksiteStrong work ethic, attention to detail, and dependable attendance
