Employee will assist in the overall quality of the products being produced. Employee will ensure that all assigned department employees are following company’s GMPs and that all the equipment meets pre-operation requirements. The position will verify and ensure compliance with the following programs and policies: Superior Farms’ GMPs, HACCP plan, SSOP programs, and quality policies and procedures. Additionally, employee will assist the Quality Assurance Manager with the maintenance, review, sign off, report generation and record filing of the aforementioned programs. Quality Assurance experience is not required but is desired. The job requires that you pay close attention to detail and are good at ensuring compliance with company and government requirements. On the job learning will take place, which includes trainings and being partnered with an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to learn as you go.This position requires continuous work in areas that are cold, hot, and noisy and in areas that contain chemicals. It is also subject to outdoor environments such as rain, wind, heat and cold.
