Senior Project Architect (Dallas)
AEB Strategic Talent, a firm specializing in AEC Recruiting and HR Consulting, is partnering with an award-winning destination and hospitality architectural design firm to search for a Senior Project Architect who specializes in high-end hospitality, gaming + entertainment, urban + mixed-use, and high-end residential design. The firm is employee-owned, has offices in Atlantic City, California, Dallas, New York, Honolulu, London, Singapore, and Shanghai, and has over 500 employees.We are seeking a licensed Senior Project Architect to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of mid-to-large scale, complex architectural projects from concept through construction. This role is responsible for balancing technical excellence with design intent, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.The Senior Project Architect collaborates closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to drive project success, oversee technical documentation, and maintain design consistency throughout all phases of development. This position also provides leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project teams while supporting sustainable design practices and contributing to client relationships and business development efforts.RESPONSIBILITIESLead and coordinate architectural projects through all phases, from schematic design to construction administrationDevelop and oversee technical documentation, drawings, and specificationsEnsure quality assurance, accuracy, and adherence to project goals, schedules, and budgetsCollaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical and design challengesMonitor project progress, team performance, and labor budgetsConduct site visits, field reviews, and project meetingsMentor and support project team members while fostering collaboration and professional growthIntegrate sustainable design solutions and best practices into project deliveryIdeal candidates are licensed architects with strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities,excellent communication skills, and experience managing complex projects in a collaborativeenvironment.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in architectureProfessional license requiredEnvironmental accreditation preferred15+ years of experience managing small to mid-size architectural projects, including urban and resort hotels, mixed-use and renovation projectsStrong proficiency in Revit requiredAutoCAD and 3D modeling software, such as Rhino and SketchUp, a plusSketching skills requiredAdvanced knowledge of architectural building systems, integrated design, trends, construction methodology, QA/QC process, CA process, building codesExperienced in client management and negotiationsEffective project management skills, keeping within established deadlines and budgetsWorks successfully in a team environment and has experience supervising teamsManages multiple priorities of competing demandExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsTravel may be requiredIf you or someone in your network may be interested, please reach out confidentially.
