Under the guidance of our Recreation Coordinator, you'll have the opportunity to share your passion for martial arts-whether it's TaeKwon-Do, ZenDoKwon, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, or MMA-with participants of all skill levels and ages. Your expertise in demonstrating various patterns, kicks, and punching techniques will inspire and empower students on their martial arts journey. We believe that a diverse and inclusive workforce is essential to our success, and we are committed to creating a supportive and welcoming work environment for all of our employees.To review the full job description, click here!Minimum QualificationsMartial Arts Instructor IMust be a minimum of 16 years of age• Five years of prior experience as a martial arts student.• To have or obtain CPR, First Aid, Concussion Awareness and Universal Precautions Certifications.• Ability to be trained to teach beginning class levels.Martial Arts Instructor IIAll of above plus• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age• Three years of Martial Arts class instruction experience• Ability to take on the lead instructor role when the lead instructor in unable to attend.Martial Arts Instructor IIIAll of above plus,• Five years of Martial Arts class instruction experience• Ability to be the lead instructor for the program.• Ability to assist in paperwork and coordination of special events.The City of Commerce City is an equal-opportunity employer.Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Employees can also purchase golf merchandise at discounted prices.Benefits: The city monitors the hours worked for seasonal and variable hour employees.
