Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

Overview: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery / Warehouse Worker and furniture assembler to join our team. As a vital member of our logistics operation, you will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of furniture and maintaining our warehouse's high standards of organization and efficiency. If you have experience with route driving, loading and unloading, and providing exceptional customer service, we would like to hear from you. Responsibilities: - Load and unload furniture from vehicles, including box trucks and vans. - Drive a vehicle for delivery and warehouse runs, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. - Operate a box truck or van, navigating through traffic and ensuring packages are delivered to the correct location. - Provide excellent customer service by ensuring packages are delivered on time and addressing any concerns or issues. - Lift and move heavy packages, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols. - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping and mopping the floor. - Keep accurate records of deliveries and warehouse activities, including tracking inventory and managing stock levels. - Work collaboratively with other warehouse team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently. Requirements: - Experience with route driving and loading and unloading packages. - Ability to operate a box truck or van safely and efficiently. - Strong customer service skills. - Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks. - Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management. - Reliable and punctual, with the ability to maintain a consistent schedule. - Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record.
