Every time we launch a new facility, we create jobs in that neighborhood, and we’re proud to provide a wide range of cuisines and options for healthy food at an affordable price.We're changing the game for restaurateurs, whether they’re entrepreneurs opening their first restaurant, all the way through to your favorite global quick-service restaurant chains.Why this role is differentThis isn’t a typical HVAC/R job chasing random service calls.Work on modern, standardized commercial kitchen facilitiesPredictable environments → faster diagnostics, less guessworkMix of hands-on repair + system troubleshooting + facility supportOpportunity to grow into Facilities or Regional leadership rolesBe part of a rapidly growing operation in a $100B+ industryIndependent problem-solving with access to a collaborative support network (engineering, senior techs) for complex escalationsWhat You’ll DoRefrigeration & HVAC MaintenancePerform preventative maintenance and complex repairs on commercial refrigeration systems (WIC/R, Walk-Ins, Reach-Ins) as a primary priority, alongside HVAC systems(Accurex, Captiveaire, Trane, Carrier) (RTUs, exhaust fans, hoods, make-up air units, DOAS systems)Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues across multiple sitesSupport refrigeration and kitchen ventilation systemsFacility Operations SupportTravel between multiple sites (number of sites vary by region) throughout the week across the Greater Bay Area areaConduct site inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficientlyHandle basic electrical and plumbing maintenance as neededCoordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and warranty workSystem Performance & TroubleshootingUse Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor performance and diagnose issuesProvide remote troubleshooting support to onsite teams and vendorsReview reports (startup, testing, balancing) to verify system performanceNew Site SupportAssist with new facility openings by verifying installation and system functionalityIdentify issues early and coordinate corrective actions RequiredWhat we’re looking for5+ years of commercial refrigeration and HVAC experienceHVAC Universal certification (EPA, trade school, or equivalent)Expertise in Walk-In Coolers/Freezers (WIC/R) and specialized refrigeration equipment, with additional experience in RTUs and ventilationStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsComprehensive knowledge around compressors & key componentsValid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites locallyPreferredExperience in restaurants, hospitality, or multi-site facilitiesWorking knowledge of electrical and plumbing systemsWhy join us Demand for online food delivery is growing really fast!
