UniversitiesAbout the RoleThe Company is seeking an Associate Vice Dean for Advancement to lead its fundraising and alumni engagement activities. The successful candidate will be a strategic and inclusive leader, responsible for managing the fundraising and engagement strategy for the School of Arts and Sciences. This role requires a global perspective to reflect the impact of the institution and its extensive network of alumni. The AVD will work in partnership with the Vice Dean, managing a team and mentoring staff in individual giving corporate and foundation relations, and alumni engagement. The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of development experience, with a strong background in soliciting major and principal gifts, and at least five years of management experience, preferably in a complex academic setting.Applicants for the Associate Vice Dean for Advancement position at the company should be inspiring leaders with a commitment to the values of a liberal arts education.
