Mail Services Coordinator
Mail Services Coordinator Location: San Francisco, CA 94105 (100% onsite) Duration: 6 months (possible extension or going perm) Shifts: 8:30am-5:00pm PST (Monday-Friday) Day-to-day: Accept deliveries from carriers Log in packages into internal clients system Transfer packages between buildings Follow and respond to internal communications within Slack and email Assist at customer facing mail center where employees pick up mail, ship outgoing mail, and received assistance for other requests Create shipping labels Respond to tickets in internal clients system Complete mail and ticket audits Organize and keep spaces clean Additional Must have skills: Customer service, communication (verbal and written), proficient in Google suites and other basic technology, lift up to 30lbs Teachable skills: Salesforce, creating shipment labels This is a smaller team that works out of two spaces in two buildings. There is data entry, customer service, and physical movement and lifting in this role. We are looking for someone who is confident with technology, lifting and completing deliveries, as well as speaking and written communication to customers. You will need to work well with a team but also can complete tasks independently. Responsibilities Sort and deliver incoming mail and packages. Log all packages into Salesforce Receive occasional freight deliveries Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders via Salesforce/Slack. Ship customer packages using FedEx and other shipping applications. Requires physical labor and the ability to lift up to 30lbs. Transport mail and packages among all clients buildings using a variety of tools (e.g. carts, hand trucks, etc.). Support client's employees in all mail services needs via all communication channels (e.g. email, phone, face-to-face, Salesforce applications, etc.). Use internal clients applications for package and mail management. Skills Excellent interpersonal communication skills and customer service experience preferred. Proficient with Google Drive (e.g. Gmail, Gcal, Docs) Computer skills include typing minimum of 30 words per minute and using basic applications such as word documents, spreadsheets, email, presentations, etc. Ability to take direction and follow oral and written instructions Motivated, Self-Starter Good writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Exhibits strong attention to detail 0-2 years experience.
