Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive. Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all orders are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Provide menu recommendations and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, ensuring timely service and addressing any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods, assisting with food preparation as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as necessary. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring every guest feels valued and appreciated. Experience Previous experience as a Server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable. Culinary experience or knowledge of food handling practices is an asset. Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately; cash handling experience is beneficial. Knowledge of sanitation practices within the food service industry is essential. Experience as a host/host or in guest services can be advantageous.
