Summary
The Project Finance Manager is an individual contributor responsible for financial leadership across complex, large-scale event programs. This role ensures programs are grounded in accurate, strategic, and optimized financial management. The Project Finance Manager partners with Project Management and Account Direction teams to oversee all financial aspects related to complex Events Projects. This role is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring 2-3 days per week in-office based out of Grand Prairie, TX or Philadelphia, PA.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Financial Management
Develop, manage, and forecast budgets for complex event programs
Conduct variance analysis, margin tracking, and scenario modeling
Support monthly close with revenue recognition inputs and KPI reporting
Lead reconciliation between client SOWs, budgets, and internal systems
Cross-Functional Partnership
Serve as the primary finance partner to Producers and Account Leads
Collaborate with Accounting and Operations on billing and invoicing
Support special financial projects and data integrity checks
Process & Systems
Improve financial workflows, templates, and reporting frameworks
Review, analyze or build dashboards connecting financial results to operations
Maintain audit-ready documentation
Use budgeting and accounting systems proficiently to support reporting processes
Additional Duties
May mentor junior analysts as department scales, as needed
Participate in onboarding, training, and process optimization, as needed

Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance; MBA preferred
Minimum 7 years of experience in budget management, financial analysis, or client finance
Certifications: MBA/CPA/CMA preferred but not required
Experience in the Live Events industry strongly preferred
Microsoft Office (MS Teams, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint)
Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, charts); proficiency in SAP and Salesforce
Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills
Ability to explain complex financial concepts in clear, client-friendly language
Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player
Travel Requirements
Travel up to 25%
