Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements. Take accurate food and beverage orders using EdgeServ POS system. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor, demonstrating excellent guest relations. Upsell menu items, daily specials, and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering processes, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and sanitation protocols. Support food preparation or kitchen staff when needed, demonstrating teamwork in a fast-paced environment like fine dining or nightlife settings. Manage guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster positive relationships throughout their visit. Experience Previous restaurant experience is highly preferred. Proven customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations is essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Knowledge of the food industry’s best practices in serving, upselling, and guest relations enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy service hours.
