This role supports guest arrivals and departures, assists with valet parking and shuttle transportation, and ensures a positive first and last impression while maintaining safety, professionalism, and operational efficiency within a full-service hotel environment.What You'll DoGuest Arrival & Departure ServicesGreet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival and departure.Assist guests with vehicle drop-off and retrieval in a timely manner.Load and unload guest luggage as needed.Provide clear directions and information regarding hotel services and transportation options.Valet Parking OperationsPark and retrieve guest vehicles safely and efficiently following established procedures.Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report any pre-existing damage.Maintain accurate valet tickets, keys, and vehicle logs.Ensure vehicle keys are stored securely and handled according to policy.Transportation & Shuttle SupportOperate hotel shuttle vehicles as scheduled or requested.Transport guests to and from designated locations safely and courteously.Maintain shuttle cleanliness and report any vehicle maintenance needs.Assist with scheduling and coordinating guest transportation requests.Safety, Security & ComplianceFollow all traffic laws, hotel safety standards, and transportation policies.Monitor traffic flow in loading zones to ensure guest safety.Report accidents, incidents, or suspicious activity immediately.Support emergency procedures as required.Team Collaboration & Guest ServiceWork closely with Front Desk, Bell Services, and Transportation leadership.Communicate guest needs, delays, or special requests promptly.Assist with group arrivals, VIP guests, and special events.Maintain a professional, friendly, and service-oriented demeanor at all times.Additional ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleanliness and organization of valet stands, driveways, and transportation areas.Assist with crowd and traffic control during peak periods.Perform other duties as assigned to support hotel operations.Maintain reliable and consistent attendance as an essential function of the job.What You'll BringRequired Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.Preferred Education & ExperiencePrevious valet, transportation, or guest service experience preferred.Experience driving shuttle vehicles or vans preferred.Experience working in hospitality or service environments preferred.Required Skills and AbilitiesValid driver's license with acceptable driving record.Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods.Ability to lift, push, or pull luggage and equipment (up to 50 lbs.).Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Other QualificationsAbility to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards.Commitment to safety, courtesy, and guest satisfaction.Zachry Hotels offers an industry leading benefits package for our employees and their families.Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance401K, Paid Leave and Bonus ProgramCompany-paid short-term and long-term disability insuranceEmployee assistance programTuition ReimbursementAnd many moreWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other legally protected status.?Notice to Staffing Agencies
