Packaging Assistant

In this vital role, you will support the packaging process by operating equipment, handling materials, and ensuring compliance with safety and manufacturing standards. Your proactive approach will help maintain efficient production flow and uphold our commitment to quality and safety in a fast-paced environment. *Duties* * Operate packaging equipment such as conveyors, sealing machines, and labeling systems in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). * Handle materials safely using appropriate material handling equipment, including forklifts when certified, to move raw materials and finished goods within the manufacturing facility. * Assemble packaging components accurately, interpreting production documents to meet specifications. * Perform mechanical troubleshooting on packaging machinery to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation. * Adhere strictly to safety standards in production areas, including safety protocol adherence during heavy lifting and equipment operation. * Conduct quality checks on packaged products to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). * Maintain accurate documentation related to production activities, including batch records, inspection logs, and inventory movements. *Experience* * Previous experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is highly preferred. * Familiarity with manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP regulations is advantageous. * Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and recording data accurately. * Mechanical knowledge or troubleshooting skills related to industrial equipment are a plus. * Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts is desirable; certification is preferred but not mandatory. * Knowledge of packaging processes, materials handling techniques, and industrial equipment troubleshooting will help you succeed in this role. * Ability to interpret production documents and follow detailed instructions reliably is essential for maintaining quality standards.
