Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Tax Auditor I, Multistate, based in New York, NY, with some flexibility for remote work. The primary responsibilities include conducting tax audits of multistate business entities, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and preparing detailed reports. The Tax Auditor will analyze financial data, review tax records, identify discrepancies, and communicate findings with taxpayers and relevant parties. The role also involves staying updated on tax regulations and contributing to the development of best practices in auditing processes. Qualifications Strong knowledge in Tax Audits, Tax, and Tax LawUnderstanding of Tax Compliance processes and regulationsProficient Analytical Skills for examining financial records and identifying inaccuraciesStrong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and interacting with taxpayersFamiliarity with multistate taxation is preferredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field requiredExperience with audit processes and tools is a plusAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
