Clinical Director
LocationGlenice SheehanThe OpportunityRiverbend is seeking an experienced Clinical Director to oversee all clinical operations at our Glenice Sheehan residential treatment program in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. You will be an integral player in our clinical team and work collaboratively with executive leadership and other clinical directors to establish and maintain best clinical practices across all Riverbend residential programs. You will be supported by and report to the Chief Clinical Officer.Skills Required:You are an established team player and leader with the personal and leadership skills to elevate your team and peers. You possess at least one year of experience in a clinical leadership role. You have proven ability to maintain composure and exemplify your team grace under pressure. You possess excellent organizational skills and can maintain prompt delivery of administrative scheduling and documentation.Responsibilities:1. Oversee and or supervise all program staff in cooperation with the Program Director.2. Responsible for the oversight and monitoring of clinical services provided within the program.3. Responsible for maintaining current DPH Licensing criteria and adherence to the agency’s best internal practices, policies and procedures, and quality standards.4. Responsible for oversight and management of program referrals, waitlists, and intakes.5. Acts as liaison between Riverbend and all outside agencies6. Facilitates clinical team meetings7. Track and complete all insurance authorizations through Medicaid and BSAS billing systems.8. Facilitate biweekly individual/ group supervision of all direct reports.9. Responsible for the oversight and implementation of the weekly Activity/Group schedule; delegation of staff to facilitate and carry through the approved curriculum.10. Complete performance evaluations for direct reports.11. Audit the EHR to ensure all direct reports are completed documentation in a timely manner and nothing is missing12. Follow evidence-based treatment protocols.13. Engages all residents by understanding and addressing their needs, whether within or outside the scope of work.14. Attend all required agency-wide meetings and training and completes assigned training by their due dates15. Maintain confidentiality of resident, employee, and agency information in accordance with federal and state laws and funder requirements.16. Responsible for the program and residents’ safety, ability to respond to emergencies at any time.17. On-call responsibilities, including being available to respond to crises and emergencies during off-hours18. Other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities:1. Direct reports for this position are counselors/ case Manager/medical staff.2. Indirect reports of this position (collaboration with Program Director) are Recovery Specialists and Interns.Competencies:1. Excellent organizational training, and time management skills2. Strong verbal & written communication skills3. Working knowledge of MS Word & Excel and Electronic Health Records.Required education and experience:1. Master’s degree in social work, Sociology, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, or Public Health.2. Five years of clinical experience working in substance use and or Mental health field3. Current CPRPreferred Education and experience:1. License: LICSW, LMHC, LADCI, LMF
