Position DescriptionTitle: RDC Material Handler - 2nd shift (3p-11p)Department: DistributionReports to: Distribution SupervisorStatus: Hourly Non-ExemptPosition Purpose: The Material Handler moves supplies throughout the distribution centerPrinciple AccountabilitiesUtilizing powered industrial trucks, moves materials through the distribution center, organizes assigned work area, and stages finished product as per instructions from leadership.Track and sort inventory while loading trailers for outbound shipment and assure accuracy of materials and products entering and exiting the facility.Completes required paperworkPerforms all work in a safety-first mentality and with utilization of IPS lean manufacturing skills.Related tasks as requested by leadershipEssential Skills and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required.2+ years manufacturing experience, including previous powered industrial truck experience required.Licensed for Powered Industrial Truck usage under IPG protocols.Must have the ability to meet objectives with minimum supervision.Must have basic computer skills, math skills, and English written communication skills.Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills required.Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours at a time requiredAbility to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. on a continuous basisAbility to consistently lift arms and work within full range of arm motion
