IT Product Owner Lead - AML

The IT Product Owner Lead - AML is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering technology solutions that support Anti-Money Laundering compliance initiatives. This role bridges business needs and technical execution, ensuring AML systems and tools meet regulatory requirements, operational efficiency, and strategic objectives.Key Responsibilities And DutiesProduct Strategy & Roadmap: Defines and maintains the AML product vision and roadmap aligned with compliance and IT strategies. Collaborates with stakeholders to identify business needs and regulatory changes impacting AML systems.Requirements Gathering & Prioritization: Translates AML compliance requirements into actionable user stories and technical specifications. Prioritizes backlog items based on business value, risk, and regulatory deadlines.Delivery & Execution: Works closely with development teams, QA, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of AML features and enhancements. Oversees system integrations with transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and KYC platforms.Stakeholder Management: Serves as the primary liaison between Compliance, IT, and external vendors. Communicates product updates, risks, and timelines to senior leadership.Risk & Compliance: Ensures AML technology solutions comply with global regulatory standards (e.g., BSA, FATF, OFAC). Supports audits and regulatory examinations by providing system documentation and evidence.Continuous Improvement: Monitors system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for optimization.
