Requirements Knowledge: Experience with and ability to implement theoretical knowledge required to engage clients, diagnose, assess, create treatment plans, provide crisis intervention and provide clinical services to individuals and families Familiar with and abides by the National Association of Social Worker’s Code of Professional Ethics Updates professional knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and otherwise maintaining the CEU requirements as set forth by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency Abilities: Represents the agency in a professional manner and maintain client confidentiality as outlined in HIPAA guidelines Keeps accurate and timely records per policies and procedures (including Initial Assessments, Progress Notes, Goal Plans and Updates, paperwork and forms required by insurance companies and/or other entities paying for services, as well as timely closing of files) and maintain program statistics for agency in regards to funding sources and contract obligations Skills: Must have good written and oral communication skills Must have high level of operating competency with computer and the computer software related to the position Possesses the ability to operate Word, Outlook, the internet, and any other software required in performing the job Physical Essentials: Must be able to handle the physical demands of meeting with clients, maintaining productivity expectations, and timely completion of paperwork.
