A Food Associate is responsible for executing food and beverage operations within Majors Management, LLC. convenience store locations to help drive food and beverage sales and profitability.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Positive interaction with customers
Ensuring that hot/cold grab n go, hot/cold beverage stations, and hot dog roller grills are clean, maintained, and well stocked
Maintaining uniform and personal appearance standards
Preparing and serving food to customers quickly and safely
Adhering to Majors, Federal, State, and local Health Department policies and codes.
Keeping products properly rotated using FIFO (first in, first out)
Performing routine maintenance on equipment.
Ensuring the proper handling of prepared and unprepared food and beverages according to published operational procedures and guidelines
Keeping all surfaces clean to the touch and clear of debris
Friendly (smile and eye contact when interacting with customers)
Other duties as assigned

Skillful communicator with ability to communicate complex issues in an easily understood manner
Ability to plan, prioritize, and effectively deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment, with energy, drive and a focus on execution
Good business acumen
Ability to work a flexible schedule of days, nights, weekends and holidays
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Shows enthusiasm toward working with customers
Currently in High School, High School Diploma, or GED
Ability to learn tasks from hands-on training, online instruction, and using job aids
Attention to detail to ensure all tasks are completed to standard and in a timely manner
Ability to learn food and beverage product descriptions and names to better serve customers
