This opportunity offers a predictable block schedule, strong clinical support, and a collaborative hospital environment serving a diverse, high-acuity patient population. The incoming physician will practice in a team-based model with intensivist support , focusing on inpatient medical management without procedural requirements. Position Highlights 7-on/7-off schedule (Tuesday-Monday) Day shift only: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM 1099 independent contractor model No procedures required No overnight in-house requirement Open ICU co-managed with intensivist team Call approximately every 6 weeks Practice Overview St. Francis Medical Center is a leading acute care facility serving Southeast Los Angeles County, providing comprehensive services including emergency medicine, intensive care, cardiology, and surgical specialties . Hospitalists work in a collaborative environment with specialists and intensivists , allowing for high-quality patient care in a well-supported hospital setting.
