PC Break Fix - Mobile Tech

Location:Indianapolis Metro Area (Driving Required)Type:Contract to PermOverviewWe are seeking a reliable and skilled Field Computer Technician to support laptop and desktop break/fix services across the metro area. This role involves traveling to client locations to diagnose and repair hardware issues.Note: Travel to/from home is not reimbursed. Mileage between job sites during the workday is reimbursed per client policy.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform on-site repair of laptops and desktops (Dell primarily)Replace hardware components such as:Hard drivesMotherboardsKeyboardsLCD screensConduct full unit swaps and peripheral replacements as neededAccurately document and close service tickets in real time using a company-provided mobile deviceTravel to multiple client locations throughout the dayRequired Qualifications1 year of hands-on laptop/desktop break-fix experienceExperience diagnosing and repairing Dell laptops and PCsStrong understanding of computer hardware and basic software (including Microsoft applications)Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderately complex technical issuesMust have reliable transportation and valid auto insuranceAbility to travel up to 2–3 hours to client sites when requiredPreferred QualificationsA Certification (Required by client; must obtain within 90 days if not already certified)Experience building computersAdditional RequirementsMust pass drug screening and background check (including possible government clearance)Must complete required product trainingMust have:A working computer and high-speed internet at homeA working printerMust be comfortable with administrative tasks (real-time reporting, ticket updates, etc.)Must adhere to business casual dress codeWork ExpectationsOccasional overtime or extended hours may be required (paid per applicable laws)Candidates must have a backup transportation plan (rideshare services are not acceptable)Certification RequirementDell certifications are required prior to startingCertifications are:Provided at no costCompleted online (open book)Required within ~3 business days of selection#ZR
