Our client is a leading digital investment platform. They seek an Associate Director of Fraud Operations to join their Manhattan, NY office.ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute the firm’s fraud prevention strategy across brokerage and investment platforms; maintain fraud-related policies, procedures, and controlsDirect end-to-end fraud investigations, overseeing the review of suspected fraudulent activities such as account takeovers, new account fraud, ACH and wire fraud, friendly fraud, and identity theftSupervise daily fraud operations, including withdrawal queue monitoring, system risk reports, and third-party account exception reviewsMentor junior team members, providing guidance on best practices in fraud detection and preventionPartner with Client Services, Customer Support, and Tech Support teams to resolve fraud-related inquiries; act as the primary point of contact for complex and escalated casesPerform detailed interviews and analyze device data to authenticate users and ensure accurate case outcomesDevelop fraud risk metrics, dashboards, and reporting for executive leadership and regulatory bodiesAdminister relationships and integrations with fraud-related service providersUphold compliance with SEC, FINRA, and other regulatory requirements related to fraud and financial crimeEnhance fraud detection protocols, system logic, and investigative methodologies through continuous improvement initiativesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related field 4-7 years of fraud prevention and risk management experience Retail brokerage industry experience requiredStrong knowledge of SEC, FINRA, AML, and KYC regulationsExpertise in fraud detection technologies, transaction monitoring systems, and data analyticsProven ability to manage complex investigations and present findings to executive leadership and regulatorsSIE/FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses are a plus (if not, open to pursuing post employment)CAMS and/or CFE certifications are a plus JobID: 48133
