You will: Responsible for the development and maintenance of data path software for Dell's storage product in a scrum team-oriented environmentContribute to the design and architecture of new features according to the product owner and customer requirementsBuild and review design, functional, technical and/or user documentation as neededDevelop, review and implement test cases for software products and systemsTriage and debug different issues found by testing and in customer casesTake the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here's what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements 10 – 15 years of proven experience in Enterprise class embedded system, e.g. Storage Array, distributed systems ( multi-threading, locks, scheduling ), storage technologies (SAN, NAS, RAID, snapshot, replication), networking, device drivers, clustering, etc.Strong in Object-oriented design, C/C++ and Python programming skills and strong debugging skills using gdbStrong Linux/Windows kernel programming skillsAbility to code/debug complex programs in a large and complicated code base, using either written or verbal design specificationsDesirable RequirementsBachelor's / Master's degree in computer science or related fieldKnowledge in storage protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI)Knowledge and expertise in file systems and data recovery developmentExperience with Agile and Scrum methodologyHands-on experience in applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) within enterprise storage environments. E.g. AI-driven solutions for storage optimization, predictive analytics, or intelligent data management in large-scale systemsCompensationDell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
