Minimal travel after onboarding allows for strong work-life balance while remaining engaged in project-driven work.Job DescriptionThe HVAC Manufacturer's Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, pricing, and proposals for HVAC projects. This role supports the engineering, architectural, contractor, and estimating communities by providing technical guidance, product information, and application support related to HVAC systems.Key responsibilities include:Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates, pricing, proposals, and supporting documentation for HVAC projectsReviewing and interpreting plans, specifications, and addenda to ensure accurate quotationsMaintaining organized project files and documentation for each estimateProviding technical guidance and product recommendations based on project requirementsSupporting customers with application and technical questions related to HVAC productsBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and industry partnersAssisting with submittals, order releases, and order tracking as neededCommunicating shipping information, expediting deliveries when required, and assisting with warranty or shipping-related issuesParticipating in manufacturer training and applying product knowledge to project estimatesPerforming additional duties and project support tasks as assignedThis role is primarily office-based with limited local travel following initial training.QualificationsAssociate degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field; bachelor's degree preferredPreferred (not required):2+ years of experience in the HVAC industry2+ years of HVAC estimating, sales, or engineering experienceWorking knowledge of HVAC system design and operationAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong organizational skills with a high attention to detailStrong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervisionProficiency with computers and web-based software applicationsStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to address questions and resolve issues professionallyWillingness to participate in initial training, including short-term travel to manufacturer facilities#ACCPRI #ACCAV
