Surgical Tech in Port Orange, FL (Hiring Immediately)

Experienced surgical professionals with a background in Operating Room Technology are needed for a rewarding opportunity supporting a high-acuity surgical team. This contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate alongside leading providers in a dynamic OR environment, emphasizing strong skills in orthopedic, neurosurgical, ENT, and robotic procedures.Schedule & Hours: 13-week engagement with the potential for extension 40 hours per week 12-hour day shifts Variable days off and rotating on-call duties (1-2 calls per week and 1 weekend 24-hour call per month) On-call hours range from 5:00 pm-7:00 am or 5:00 pm-7:30 pm depending on weekly scheduling needs Desired Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of direct OR experience Competency as a Surgical Assistant/Surgical First Assistant Certifications required: BLS, NBSTSA CST/CSFA Proficiency in advanced orthopedic, neuro, ENT, and robotic cases Willingness to float to multiple affiliated facilities as needed Key Responsibilities: Provide skilled assistance during operative procedures under the guidance of surgeons and OR leadership Ensure optimal patient care and aseptic technique throughout surgical interventions Coordinate with nursing, anesthesia, and sterile processing teams to maintain seamless workflow in the OR Manage assigned call duties, responding promptly to urgent surgical needs and being flexible with shift variations Support efficient turnover and adherence to facility protocols Additional Information: Scrub color: Hunter Green (not provided by facility) Collaborative environment with experienced leadership during both day and night shifts Contribute your expertise to a dedicated surgical service and gain valuable experience with a variety of complex procedures.
