The Project Controller is responsible for overseeing financial and performance management of projects, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and scope. This role supports project managers with cost tracking, forecasting, billing, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with internal controls and client requirements. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting. Duties Prepare customer invoices, project costs reconciliations Monitor, issue reports, and estimate project costs – includes updating budgets as costs are incurred; alerting PM to cost overruns; reconciling actual costs to project budget; submitting timely reports to Finance Issue and record project invoices – liaising with project manager to ensure invoices are submitted timely; reconciling and monitoring any variances; liaising with client rep on any discrepancies or additional backup required Interface with finance COE (Centre of Excellence) and supply chain, including coordination of all departmental services and support for relevant worksites to maximize cost performance and efficiency Record and reconcile project activity in accounting system (Business Central) Provide assistance with external audit and any other examinations General support across all accounting functions, as necessary Adhere strictly to Company's policies including, but not limited to, anti‐bribery and foreign corrupt practices Requirements An Associate or Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited university General accounting experience, preferred Preferred 1‐2 years project control experience Preferred Oil & Gas Industry experience Intermediate knowledge of major accounting software packages (Business Central) Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline‐driven environment, and perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and precision Excellent verbal, written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty The individual will be expected to work with minimal up‐front guidance and take ownership of their assigned duties / projects Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Must be team‐oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others Ability to learn and utilize company specific financial, reporting and workflow software is essential Must hold a valid passport free from status or restrictive conditions that preclude travel to and work in countries where the Company routinely operates #J-18808-Ljbffr
