Packline Tech

Description:Position Purpose: This position is for Innovative Bakery Resources, a Division of Ardent Mills. Position is responsible for various general duties including repetitive tasks, heavy lifting, standing in one place for long periods, and other duties involving packline and mixing equipment. Responsibilities:1.) General labor operating all packline and mixing equipment through all packline positions.2.) Operates forklift to transfer complete mixes to mixer and packline hopper3.) Must be mindful at all times of personal safety and the safety of those working in the same area and adhere to all safety rules at all time4.) Complete accurate and detailed packing and mixing paperwork, and permits5.) Responsible for cleanup, including sweeping, shoveling, blowing and misc job related duties Work will be done primarily in a plant atmosphere, specifically a mix facility.6.) Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (anything above that will be machine lifted or a buddy lift). Climb stairs and ladders on a continuous basis.7.) Able to perform physical labor and to work all day on feet in a warm environment.8.) Able to work efficiently while being cautious and careful not to create hazards which could endanger self or others.9.) Work will be done primarily in a plant atmosphere, specifically a mix facility.10.) Good work ethic with high personal standards for cleanliness.11.) Alert and willing to learn a wide variety of tasks.Skills:1.) Strong verbal and written communication skills.2.) Possess curiosity and always look for ways to improve procedures.3.) Must be able to work in various conditions and different heights.4.) Must be able to read, follow and retain detailed instructions for numerous different tasks and maintain records according to instructions.5.) Basic computer skills6.) Moderate level of mechanical skills.
