Right Price.Title: EHS Coordinator – Radiation Safety ComplianceDuration: 05 months contractLocation: Cary, NCShift: Standard Business HoursPosition Summary• Provides support for multiple radiation safety compliance programs including radiation dosimetry, radiation safety training, FDA 2579 submissions, Texas Equipment Performance Evaluations, X-Ray Demonstration Registrations, Radioactive Material Licensing and Service X-Ray Registrations• Directly supports regulatory documentation, technical reviews, database management, billing coordination, and radiation safety administrative functions• Supports radiation safety compliance processes through communication with field teams, state agencies, customers, and internal stakeholdersResponsibilitiesFDA 2579 Submissions• Performs technical review of all FDA Form 2579 for accuracy and completeness• Compares information on forms against system information in P40• Makes corrections to forms as needed• Tracks missing or deficient forms• Submits forms to FDA, State Agencies and customers• Files completed forms as required• Communicates missing or deficient forms to field• Reviews FDA 2579 mailbox• Maintains associated databasesLicense Billing and Payment Support• Tracks, files and submits payments to state agencies for licenses and other bills• Processes checks / P-CardsAdministrative Tasks Associated with Radiation Safety• Files paperwork associated with Service X-Ray Registrations and Radioactive Material Licenses• Enrolls and maintains personnel for Radiation Safety related trainingsRadiation Dosimetry Program Support• Reviews Radiation Safety Officer mailbox for dosimetry requests• Communicates prior dose requests to hiring manager• Files dose requests as required• Issues and ships dosimeters as required• Supports quarterly ring dosimeter shipments• Maintains associated databasesX-Ray Demonstrations Support• Reviews X-Ray Demonstrations mailbox for event requests• Uploads event requests into Demonstration database• Performs technical review of event requests against specific state regulations• Submits event requests to state agencies as required• Updates submitter that event is approvedTexas Equipment Performance Evaluations Support• Reviews Texas EPE mailbox for required communications• Reviews service reports for events where EPEs are required• Enters EPE requirements into SAP and Texas EPE database• Contacts customer within prescribed timeline to schedule EPE or confirm completion• Contacts contracted physics groups as required• Files Texas EPE documentation• Updates databases as requiredAdditional Support• Supports other administrative functions including creating training documentationQualificationsEducation:• Not specifiedExperience:• Background in Radiation Protection desiredSkills:• Proficient with Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Knowledge of SAP systems• Familiar with Power PlatformWhy Work With Us?We believe in more than just jobs—we build careers.
