The Client Relationship Manager is a client‑facing relationship leader, with hands‑on communication experience, a strong background in construction or property operations, and the ability to effectively navigate complex stakeholder environments with professionalism.Position OverviewA well‑established Hawaiʻi‑based specialty construction contractor supporting large‑scale, multifamily properties is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to lead communication and relationship management throughout active construction projects.This is a non‑sales, client‑facing role created to improve the overall client and resident experience during capital improvement work. The position serves as the primary point of contact between property owners, boards, residents, and internal field teams, ensuring clear communication, aligned expectations, and smooth project delivery across Oʻahu.The ideal candidate is comfortable operating between jobsites, boardrooms, and community meetings, and brings a calm, professional presence to complex or sensitive situations.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary liaison for property owners, boards, building managers, and residentsLead client communications during active construction projects, including timelines, updates, and impactsAttend and represent the company at board meetings, town halls, and community forumsMaintain a visible presence on jobsites to stay aligned with field teamsTranslate technical construction information into clear, resident‑friendly messagingAnticipate issues before they escalate and help resolve concerns professionallySupport smooth project execution by removing communication barriers between stakeholdersSkillsClient relationship managementStakeholder and board communicationConflict resolution and issue managementClear verbal and written communicationAbility to translate technical information for non‑technical audiencesOrganization and follow‑through across multiple active projectsProfessional presence in both field and formal settingsRequirementsExperience in a client‑facing role connected to construction, property management, building operations, or facilitiesComfort working directly with owners, boards, residents, and field personnelAbility to manage multiple priorities and remain highly responsiveWillingness to travel locally to jobsites and meetings across OʻahuHawaiʻi‑based (local familiarity strongly preferred)CompensationCompensation starts at $100,000+ and is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
