Join us in crafting solutions the world doesn't know of yet.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong background in optics, optical sensors, and optical measurementsExperience using Python, C/C++, C#, Matlab, or similar for lab equipment control, data collection, and data analysisExperience with optical lab equipment such as power meters, spectrometers, cameras/detectors, oscilloscopes, and optical tablesExcellent written and verbal communication skills; solid teamwork and leadership skillsPrior work experience at client or in client's industryApplicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2Preferred Skills & QualificationsExperience with ray-tracing or FDTD softwareExperience supporting volume manufacturing of optical systems (test, validation, FA, etc.)Experience with system-level problem solving and root-cause diagnosisDay-to-Day ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute system integration, test, and validation strategies for manufacturing new optical sensorsConduct failure mode analysis and product simulation/analysis using a variety of software toolsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver state-of-the-art sensing solutionsAnalyze data to enhance product design and manufacturabilityTravel to support design, production, and supplier teams as necessary (10-20% business travel)Company Benefits & CultureComprehensive health and wellness benefitsOpportunities for professional growth and developmentInclusive and innovative work environment
