Federally funded positions are supplemental and therefore subject to federal funds.ROLE AND PURPOSE: QUALIFICATIONS:As a Small Group Intervention Facilitator, you will help students build the skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to succeed. You will provide targeted, differentiated instruction in ELAR or Math and work directly with students who need extra support. Collaborating with classroom teachers, you will offer push-in or pull-out assistance, enhance instruction, and create a positive learning environment. You will monitor progress, celebrate growth, and help each student achieve grade-level standards.Education/CertificationBachelor's Degree requiredCertified in the area assigned (ELAR or Math)Teaching Certificate issued by the Texas Education AgencyESL Certification is requiredExperienceMinimum three years of classroom teaching experience with strong instructional skills, demonstrated through proven academic outcomesExpertise in student intervention strategiesSpecial Knowledge/SkillsAbility to intervene with small groups of identified students around academic standardsDeep content knowledge in ELAR or Math with an achievement and outcomes orientationStrong instructional and classroom management skillsHigh level of personal organization and planningAbility to inspire, motivate, and engage childrenProficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applicationsExcellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, plan effectively, and meet deadlinesEffective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact and collaborate professionally with individuals at all levelsAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environmentDemonstrated problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a dynamic work environmentCommitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with integrityStrong interpersonal skills and a customer service-oriented approachFlexibility to handle changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyMajor Responsibilities And DutiesI. INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT:Student support (in collaboration with the classroom teacher, grade level instructional leader, and in a small group setting)Support student independence and learning with acceleration or extension support to help them achieve meets expectations in a learning labSupport the implementation of all classroom expectations for the classroom environment and instructional cyclePlan and prepare a variety of learning activities considering individual students' culture, learning styles, special needs, and socio-economic backgroundUtilize materials and resources that support learning objectives and address students' varying learning styles and special needsEstablish and maintain a positive and safe learning environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning processAssist with the development and implementation of student support plansMonitor and communicate the progress of identified studentsSupport teachers with timely transitions, i.e., start and stop, and transition to and from interventionSupport teachers with grading and organizing student work weeklyCollaborate with teachers to enhance instructional strategies, differentiation, and assessment practicesSupport the implementation of curriculum plans aligned with state standards and district initiativesCollaborate with teachers to analyze student data and identify areas for instructional improvementCollaborate with teachers, instructional leaders, and support staff to align initiatives and support student successStay updated on the latest educational trends, research, and best practicesSupport teachers in utilizing formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and inform instructional decisionsApplies deep content and pedagogical knowledge to move students to grade-level proficiencyCreates engaging, rigorous lesson plansImplements robust, outcome-based intervention plans that sequence and scaffold learning to maximize student access to grade-level standardsLeverages the collective understandings of the multidisciplinary/MTSS team to increase student outcomesUses data from student work, assessments, and observations to refine interventions and supportIi.
