This position will focus on hay customers with an emphasis on repairing equipment as it relates to hay equipment (round balers, square balers, etc).Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Provide service and customer support during field visitsManage all on site diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and test tasksDiagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutionsProduce timely and detailed service reportsComprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefingsAdvise customers on the equipmentOperate service vehicle in a safely mannerField Service Tech RequirementsField Service Technician QualificationsMinimum requirements for the Field Service Technician position include:High school diploma or equivalentValid drivers license and acceptable driving record for insuranceProven Field Service experience/great mechanical aptitudeAbility to lift up to 55 pounds and stand on your feet up to eight hours a dayGreat communication skills and amazing problem solving skillsA technical degree is preferred but not requiredWCTractor's mission is to be the best in the eyes of our customers, employees, community, and industry, and to reflect honesty, integrity and Christian standards and values in all we do.Washington County Tractor, Inc. began as a Ford tractor dealership in 1939.
