Principal Human Resources Analyst

ABOUT THE POSITION The Principal Human Resources Analyst is an advanced professional classification supporting complex and sensitive HR functions. Working under general supervision, this role leads key program areas, provides high-level analytical and technical support, and offers professional guidance to Court leadership and staff. Incumbents may also oversee or coordinate the work of HR unit staff. As the advanced class in the Human Resources Analyst series, this position requires strong professional judgment, refined interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage confidential issues with tact. The role is distinguished by its depth of expertise and program leadership, while differing from the Human Resources Manager classification, which carries full administrative responsibility for a unit. THIS IS A TELEWORK ELIGIBLE OPPORTUNITY This position may be eligible for partial telework following an initial training period and contingent upon the needs of the Court. SELECTION REQUIREMENTS To qualify, you must meet one of the following options at the final filing date of this bulletin: OPTION I: Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited four-year college or university - AND - three (3) years of progressively responsible analyst-level experience in one or more human resources functions. OPTION II: Eight (8) years of progressively responsible analyst-level experience in one or more human resources functions. OPTION III: Master\'s degree or Juris Doctorate from an accredited four-year college or university - AND - one (1) year of progressively responsible analyst-level experience in one or more human resources functions. OPTION IV: Ph.D. from an accredited four-year college or university. *To qualify for Options that require educational credentials, you must attach the required documentation to your application. Analyst-level work is defined as work performed to assist and support the organization\'s management by conducting research and making recommendations for the solution of problems such as organization, use of personnel or resources, budget allocation and funds, workload and/or workload fluctuations, or programs and procedures for accomplishing work objectives. Note: Credit for experience is based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited on a pro rata basis (e.g., working 20 hours per week for two months equals one month of experience).
