Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Retread Tech-Buffer Operator, located in Jacksonville, FL. The Retread Tech-Buffer Operator is responsible for preparing, inspecting, and buffering commercial truck tires for retreading. Daily tasks include performing tire inspections to identify defects, operating machinery to remove excess rubber, maintaining workspaces and equipment, and adhering to operational protocols and safety standards. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and collaboration with the retread team to ensure high-quality products. Qualifications Proficiency in Preventive Maintenance and general Maintenance techniquesExperience with Training on job-related processesFamiliarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standardsStrong background in Manufacturing processesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safetyStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsPhysical ability to handle tire-related tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods of timePrior experience in a related role or manufacturing environment is a plus
