Our team members have proven experience leading strategic initiatives within the civilian Government agencies.*Note: Please ensure you meet the Security Clearance obligations before applying to optimize your consideration for this and other employment opportunities with RCS.RCS is seeking a Cloud Platform Administrator SME to serve as an embedded Administrator and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in direct support of our client's mission and environment.This position requires the candidate to meet specific Security Clearance obligations to work remote in the Washington DC area.What you will do:Work in an enterprise-wide cloud management, financial governance, and cloud spend oversight across Government cloud environments.Utilize a proprietary platform as its primary tool for cloud financial management, compliance automation, account management, and spend visibility.Assist in expanding the footprint and mature cloud governance operations.Be a dedicated team member to support day-to-day platform administration, advanced configuration, and mission enablement activities.Platform Administration & ConfigurationDay-to-day administration of the platformOrganizational Unit (OU) hierarchy creation, modification, and managementProject creation, configuration, and lifecycle managementUser and user group provisioning, role management, and access controlFunding source and budget creation, configuration, and managementCloud access role (CAR) creation and ongoing management across AWS accountsPermission scheme configuration and enforcementCloud Account & Environment ManagementAWS account onboarding, configuration, and managementSupport for AWS GovCloud (US) and Commercial Cloud Service (C2S) environmentsCloud rule and Service Control Policy (SCP) creation, management, and deploymentCross-account configuration support, including S3 policies and resource access patternsIntegration and management of multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP as applicable)Cloud Financial Management & ReportingCloud spend monitoring, analysis, and reporting within the client environmentBudget threshold configuration, alerting, and enforcementFunding source management and spend plan oversightMonthly and ad hoc spend reports for the Customer leadership and stakeholdersAnalysis of spend anomalies and cost optimization recommendationsSupport for financial audit preparation and reporting requirementsCompliance & GovernanceCompliance check creation, management, and monitoringCompliance standard configuration and enforcement aligned to Government/DoD policiesCompliance findings triage, reporting, and remediation trackingCloud Custodian policy integration and configuration supportSupport for DISA STIGs, FedRAMP, and DoD IL requirements as applicableInfrastructure-as-Code & AutomationTerraform Provider configuration, management, and troubleshootingCloudFormation template support and compatibility resolution (including C2S environments)Automation scripting and workflow development to reduce manual overheadCI/CD pipeline integration support for related infrastructureOperational Support & Stakeholder EnablementExecution of the Customer-directed configuration changes and platform tasksPlatform health monitoring and proactive issue identificationCoordination with engineering and product teams on escalated issuesInternal knowledge transfer and documentation for the Customer staffParticipation in the Customer team meetings, status calls, and leadership briefings as requiredSupport for Phase 2 expansion activities and new capability onboardingRequired Qualifications/Education:Clearance: Active Secret clearance, TS/SCI preferredU.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS)Demonstrated expertise in cloud platform administrationHands-on experience with AWS, including GovCloud (US) environmentsFamiliarity with DoD and Government cloud compliance frameworksExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools including Terraform and CloudFormationStrong communication skills and ability to operate effectively in a government customer environmentNice to Have Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience acceptedDirect experience with the platform (or comparable cloud management platforms such as Apptio Cloudability, CloudCheckr, or similar)Familiarity with DoD compliance frameworks: DISA STIGs, FedRAMP, DoD IL2/IL4/IL5, and Army SAAR processesExperience with Cloud Custodian policy engine or similar policy-as-code frameworksExperience supporting a Program Management Office (PMO) or government contracting officer technical representative (COTR) environmentAWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cloud Practitioner, or equivalent cloud certificationFinOps Certified Practitioner (FinOps Foundation) or equivalent cloud financial management certificationRCS is an equal employment opportunity employer.
