About Return Brewing: Return Brewing is a multifaceted brewing project that seeks to create accessible, traditional “Tavern” style beers alongside an extensive line of exploratory concepts. Return began brewing and selling their beer in the Hudson Valley and beyond in September of 2021. They opened their beer garden and experimental small-batch brewery in downtown Hudson, New York in Spring 2023. This flagship Hudson taproom had its grand opening in April 2024. Their production facility and “Outpost” taproom opened in Catskill, NY in September 2024 .Return’s goal is to work with the region’s farms, businesses, and the community at large to make a positive impact in Hudson and beyond. About the job: Most Important You are passionate about beer and would like to make our tasting rooms a friendly and inclusive place! Responsibilities Pouring and serving draft beers and mixing specialty cocktails Learning our beers and our brewing philosophy and sharing that with customers Creating positive and fun guest experiences Routine setup and breakdown of tasting room and beer garden including cleaning, cash handling, restocking Merchandising our merch and to-go can beers Using POS system to record sales IDing guests as required, assuring compliance with alcohol service laws Problem solving customer issues and reporting them to management Occasionally work offsite events, consisting of similar duties Compensation $16 hourly plus tips Notes: If you are a good candidate and have a previous felony conviction we will work with the SLA to try to get past hiring hurdles There are no education prerequisites: if you love beer we will teach you The ability to lift 50L kegs (130lbs) to change the draft system is a plus Pay: $16.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
