For more information, visit https://www.mttm.com/ About The RoleAs an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in supporting customers throughout the sales cycle, from initial inquiry through order fulfilment, by providing knowledgeable, responsive, and solutions-oriented support. This role combines technical understanding with customer relationship management and will work closely with engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure accurate recommendations, timely quotes, and reliable delivery. This position is based out of Mi-Tech’s HQ in Indianapolis, IN, and reports directly to the Head of Sales & Business Development. Your responsibilities include:Serve as an internal resource for customers in aerospace, defense, medical, electronics, coating technology, and industrial manufacturing sectorsUnderstand customer requirements and translate them into appropriate material, alloy, or component recommendationsDevelop and maintain long-term relationships through responsive, knowledgeable, and solution-oriented serviceManage inbound inquiries, quotes, follow-ups, and customer communication with professionalism and urgencyBuild a working knowledge of tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, and composite materials, including their performance characteristics, applications, and manufacturing processesGuide customers through both Mi-Tech and Plansee Group product offerings Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain to confirm feasibility, lead times, and technical accuracyPrepare accurate quotes, proposals, and order documentationMaintain CRM records, track opportunities, and support sales forecasting activitiesSupport trade shows, customer visits, and virtual product demonstrationsMonitor competitor activity and industry trends related to refractory metals and advanced manufacturingWhat We Expect from YouExperience, Education, Skills, TraitsA bachelor's degree is a plusMin. 3 years of experience in customer support, inside sales, or B2B sales supportExperience supporting customers in a manufacturing, industrial, materials, or technical B2B environment Familiarity with tungsten, molybdenum, or other refractory metals and/or their industrial applications is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systemsAbility to meet requirements to work on ITAR and export-controlled projectsWhat We Offer is More Than a Job…The opportunity to join a market leader in tungsten alloy manufacturing Competitive compensation and benefits package, which includes: Medical, dental, and prescription drug programs, including dependentsGenerous 401(k) planLTD and life insurancePaid holidays and vacation
