Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Toolmaker role based in Manchester, CT. The Toolmaker will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining precision tools, dies, and gauges to ensure seamless production processes. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, operating CNC machines, performing inspections on completed tools, and troubleshooting production equipment. The Toolmaker will collaborate with engineers, apprentices, and team members to deliver top-quality tooling solutions. Qualifications Proficiency in using precision machining tools such as CNC machines, lathes, mills, and grindersAbility to read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawingsExperience in tool making, maintenance, and repairStrong quality control skills, including inspection, measurement tools, and attention to detailMechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of machining best practicesEffective collaboration and communication skills to work within a team environmentCommitment to ongoing learning and continuous improvement; prior experience in an apprenticeship program is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or coursework in machining, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred but not required
