About the CompanyInnoPak Packaging & Design is a manufacturing company located in Delaware, Ohio, with a mission to build and strengthen the people infrastructure across a 220-employee manufacturing site.About the Role - The HR Manager is a strategic, hands-on leader responsible for building and strengthening the people infrastructure across a 220-employee manufacturing site. This is a builder role. The focus is on establishing structure, improving leadership capability, and driving consistent execution across the operation.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Partnership & Workforce Build-Out Partner with site leadership to align workforce strategies with operational goals and business prioritiesAssess current state of the workforce and implement practical solutions to improve performance and stabilityBuild and refine processes that support a growing and evolving operationAct as a trusted advisor, bringing both perspective and execution to people-related decisionsLeadership Development & Capability Building Build front-line leadership capability through direct coaching, feedback, and developmentEstablish clear expectations around accountability, communication, and performance managementIdentify leadership gaps and take action to strengthen supervisor effectivenessSupport development of bench strength and succession planningEmployee Relations & Culture Stabilization Lead employee relations matters end-to-end, balancing fairness with business impactBring consistency and structure to how issues are addressed across the siteIdentify patterns and root causes of workforce challenges and implement solutionsPartner with leadership to create a more accountable, performance-driven cultureHR Operations & Process Development Own and improve core HR processes including recruiting, onboarding, and employee lifecycle managementBring structure, organization, and consistency to HR executionEnsure compliance with employment laws and company policiesUse data and trends to continuously improve processes and decision-makingFloor Engagement & Operational Integration Maintain a strong, visible presence on the production floorEngage directly with employees and supervisors to stay connected to real-time challengesParticipate in Gemba walks, shift huddles, and production meetingsServe as the bridge between workforce realities and leadership prioritiesSafety & Risk Partnership Support and reinforce a culture of safety and accountabilityPartner with operations on safety initiatives, investigations, and corrective actionsEnsure alignment between safety expectations and workforce behaviors Qualifications5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or operational environmentProven experience building or improving HR processes in a fast-paced settingStrong employee relations and leadership coaching capabilityAbility to influence leaders and drive accountabilityHighly organized with strong execution and follow-through Required SkillsClear structure and consistency in HR processes and executionStronger, more capable front-line leadershipImproved workforce stability, retention, and engagementFaster, more effective resolution of employee issuesA more disciplined, accountable operating environment Preferred SkillsPayroll and HRIS Systems401(k) AdministrationThorough knowledge of group benefits administration not limited to Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance On-site (In person) InnoPak Packaging & Design, Delaware, Ohio https://www.innopak.com/Equal Opportunity StatementInnoPak Packaging & Design is committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
