Bring your passion for root cause analysis and continuous improvement to a fast-paced, growing manufacturer.Job Description:The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring product and process quality across all manufacturing operations. This role involves developing and implementing quality processes and standards, analyzing data, leading root cause investigations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet or exceed customer expectations.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement procedures, standards, and documentation to support the quality system.Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure quality requirements are met.Investigate production issues, customer complaints, and non-conformities; lead root cause and corrective action.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap, rework, and warranty issues.Monitor production processes for compliance with internal/external standards.Interface with customers on nonconformances and follow-up actions.Conduct internal/supplier audits; assist with ISO and customer audit prep.Maintain quality documentation (inspection reports, NCR data, audit findings).Apply quality tools and statistical methods (SPC, PPAP, CMM reports, etc.) to drive improvements.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience).3+ years in a quality engineering role within manufacturing.Strong knowledge of root cause analysis, 5-Whys, control plans, statistical methods.Working knowledge of ISO 9001.Preferred:Familiarity with mechanical gages (calipers, micrometers).GD&T knowledge.Experience with CMMs.Our Core Values:Teamwork – Help each other succeed; communicate clearly; encourage teammates; solve problems without blame.Honesty & Integrity – Honor commitments; do the right thing; act consistently.Lean – Improve processes; welcome new ideas; share and teach; expose issues.Numbers Focused – Deliver results; analyze for improvement; take ownership; work smarter.Excellence – Serve customers passionately; provide solutions; act with urgency; strive to be the best.Fun – Stay positive; celebrate wins; don’t take yourself too seriously.
