NGTS Software Engineer/Developer

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.ResponsibilitiesAs a Software Developer you will have the opportunity to do the following:Demonstrate a knowledge of standard programming algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented software designDevelop, evaluate, and review C++ language code programming using C++, Python 3, and MATLABHave experience with model-based system engineering approachesCollaborate with team members to design future enhancementsDevelop software for an advanced synthetic modeling and training environment. Support software development, software integration, customer training, and demonstrations.Develop Web-based applications using development technologyDesign tests ensuring proper behavior of models.QualificationsMinimum 4-5 years of relevant work experienceAt least 4-5 years with weapons systems modeling. BS in Computer Science or Engineering. Degrees in Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or Aerospace, Computer, Software Systems, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering may qualify with at least 5 year's of C++ experienceMust be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance Must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance. Pay Transparency Statement AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $93,900.00/Yr. - USD $156,800.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
