Join Winston Taylor.Position SummaryProvides support to the Professional Development team in the administration, planning, and logistics related to attorney and professional staff training programs, career development initiatives, wellness programs, and retention and engagement initiatives.ResponsibilitiesPosition responsibilities Assists the Professional Development team in coordinating administrative tasks, conference rooms, webinar links, invitations, and speaker logistics of training and development programs. Provides assistance with logistical support for Winston University Intensive events, including: assisting with project plans, assisting with event budget, (e.g., speaker feed, food & beverages, equipment, hotel, travel, gifts, incidentals, entertainment, restaurants), and logistics related to schedule and successful execution of program. Provides assistance with logistical support for specialty programs and broader Talent team initiatives, such as leadership lab, the mentor program, new associate orientation and onboarding projects, new manager training, and staff training. Coordinate with CLE team members to assist with CLE compliance. Regularly maintains Professional Development department calendar including collaborating with colleagues on the Talent team and counterparts in other firm departments to ensure that professional development programming and development initiatives are timely and integrated with other firm development programs and events. Work closely with Professional Development and technical team to develop, improve, and maintain learner-facing functionality, including department intranet site, learning library, and LMS. Provides support to the Career Development Advisors for the litigation and transactions groups with scheduling, program management, and specialty projects, as needed. Provides support to the Director of Coaching and Well-being, as needed. Maintains relevant department data and communications, such as job board, L&D inbox, Winston Weekly, employee lists for invitations (in collaboration with HR team). Update Professional Development information on the firm intranet. Assists on other special projects as assigned. Experience, Skills, And Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. 1 + year of administrative experience in a law firm or professional environment required. Must live within a commutable distance to the firm office with the ability to come into the office 3-4 days per week. Excellent understanding of technology. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent judgment, discretion and diplomacy. Strong attention to detail. Professional and positive attitude. Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with lawyers, administrators, and staff across all offices, and outside service providers. Outstanding organizational and follow-up skills. Additional information about benefits and rewards can be found here .SALARYIllinois applicants only: The target annual salary range for this role is currently $65,000-$72,000 based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of compensation offered will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, market data and internal equity. Total compensation includes a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, yearly retirement contribution, and may include an annual discretionary merit bonus.
