Diesel Truck Specialist (Mack & Volvo Focus)Location: Kenosha / Pleasant Prairie, WIEmployment Type: Full-TimePosition OverviewArrow Specialized Carriers is seeking an experienced Diesel Truck Specialist with strong knowledge of Mack and Volvo heavy-duty trucks. This technician will be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, and minimizing fleet downtime.We operate dry-van, intermodal, construction, and tanker units and need a dependable mechanic who understands modern diesel systems and OEM software.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair Mack MP engines & Volvo D11/D13 enginesPerform advanced diagnostics using OEM software (Volvo Premium Tech Tool, Mack Diagnostic Software)Troubleshoot:DEF / Aftertreatment systems (DPF, SCR)Electrical & wiring issuesEGR systemsTransmission systems (Volvo I-Shift, Mack mDrive)Perform preventative maintenance (PM services)Handle brake systems, suspension, air systems, and driveline repairsPerform DOT inspectionsMaintain accurate repair recordsCommunicate repair timelines and cost estimates to managementQualifications 3+ years experience working on Mack & Volvo heavy-duty trucksExperience with computerized diagnosticsStrong understanding of emissions systemsAbility to troubleshoot electrical issuesOwn basic mechanic tools (specialty tools a plus)Valid Driver's License (CDL preferred but not required)DOT inspection certification preferredPreferred Experience Fleet maintenance backgroundExperience working in fast-paced trucking environmentsKnowledge of preventative maintenance schedulingWelding or fabrication skills (a plus)Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)Overtime opportunitiesPerformance bonusesPaid time offStable, growing carrier environmentOpportunity to grow into Lead Fleet Technician roleWhy Join Arrow?
