CDL Class A Driver

Please send your resume and cover letter to hr@bu-logistics.com Responsibilities: * Drive commercial vehicles safely and professionally while adhering to all state and federal regulations * Transport freight to designated locations with a focus on timely and efficient delivery * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other important data * Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues to management promptly * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to ensure smooth and efficient operations * Work independently with minimal supervision while prioritizing safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction Requirements: * At least 21 years old * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record * CDL with all endorsements required by company policy * 3 years of driving experience preferred * Ability to pass pre-employment drug screens, physicals, and background checks * Drug-free and alcohol-free driver history for the last 3 years * Good vision, hearing, and speech required for phone communication with dispatchers and customers * Willingness to work a dedicated schedule with home daily Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $30.00 per hour Benefits: * Paid time off * Paid training * Passenger ride along program * Safety equipment provided Experience: * Driving: 3 years (Preferred) License/Certification: * CDL A (Required) Ability to Commute: * Clinton, TN 37716 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: * Clinton, TN 37716: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: On the road
