Bridal Consultant/Sales Associate

Overview As a Bridal Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable experiences for brides-to-be as they select their perfect wedding attire. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, guiding clients through the selection process, and ensuring that each bride feels valued and understood. Your expertise in retail sales and product knowledge will help you to effectively meet the needs of our clients while contributing to the overall success of our bridal department. Duties Engage with brides and their parties to understand their vision and preferences for wedding attire. Provide personalized consultations, offering expert advice on styles, fits, and trends. Assist customers in selecting dresses, accessories, and other bridal products. Manage the fitting process, ensuring that alterations are scheduled and executed accurately. Utilize retail math to assist with inventory management and sales tracking. Promote additional products through upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience. Operate cash registers efficiently and accurately during transactions. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of bridal accessories. Maintain a clean and organized work environment that reflects the brand’s standards. Supervise junior staff as needed, providing training on customer service best practices. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred. Strong skills in supervising staff and managing team dynamics effectively. Proficiency in cash register operations and handling transactions smoothly. Experience with product demos to engage customers effectively. Ability to upsell products while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction. Familiarity with grocery store environments is a plus but not required. Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries from clients professionally. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse clientele. A solid understanding of retail math principles is beneficial for inventory management.
