Senior Consulting Engineer – VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Contract – 6 months, potential to hire or extend100% remoteCDW is seeking a Senior Consulting Engineer with deep expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise VMware solutions. This role will focus on VCF Fleet Management/Core services, including the ability to deploy and support greenfield VCF 9 environments.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a senior technical consultant and trusted advisor for VMware Cloud Foundation environments.Design, architect, and implement VCF solutions, including greenfield VCF 9 deployments.Lead client workshops to gather technical and business requirements.Develop solution roadmaps and implementation strategies aligned with client objectives.Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams throughout project delivery.Partner with clients across IT and business organizations to deliver successful outcomes.Collaborate with CDW teams to architect and execute complex VMware-focused engagements.Manage client relationships and communicate technical recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Required QualificationsAdvanced experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), including architecture, deployment, and operations.Proven experience standing up greenfield VCF environments.Strong consulting, solution design, and client-facing experience.Experience leading technical teams and delivering enterprise infrastructure projects.Excellent communication, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills.Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Preferred QualificationsExperience with VCF Fleet Management and Core services.VMware certifications highly desired.Experience developing enterprise infrastructure roadmaps and modernization strategies.Ideal Candidate: A seasoned VMware consultant who can lead architecture discussions, deliver complex VCF solutions, mentor engineering teams, and serve as a trusted advisor for enterprise clients.
