Position SummaryThe Manager of Talent Acquisition & Payroll serves as a key operational leader responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of both the recruiting and payroll teams. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Talent & Payroll, this role ensures that hiring operations and payroll processing are aligned to support a seamless employee lifecycle across corporate and facility-level operations.This position supervises staff across both functions, enforces compliance and process standards, and serves as the primary point of contact for escalations, reporting, and cross-functional coordination.What You’ll DoTalent AcquisitionOversee daily recruiting operations, ensuring timely follow-up, coverage, and performance across Regional Recruiters and Recruiting AssistantsManage lead flow and assign recruiting requests based on workload and prioritySupport full-cycle recruiting for corporate and high-priority roles as neededManage the Student Clinical Program, including contracts and partnerships with educational institutionsMonitor and report on KPIs (time-to-fill, applicant activity, vacancy trends) using DataIQ, Hireology, and IndeedLead bi-weekly recruiting operations meetings and coordinate staffing plansMaintain and improve SOPs for job postings, offers, onboarding handoffs, and candidate communicationPartner with DVPs, HR, Legal, and Operations to align hiring with business needsPayroll OperationsOversee payroll processing across all facilities, ensuring accuracy and complianceSupervise payroll team members, providing direction and support for escalationsAudit payroll records, timekeeping, and disbursements regularlyCoordinate payroll onboarding for new hires to ensure seamless first pay cyclesSupport payroll reporting, labor cost tracking, and compliance documentationAssist with payroll setup for newly acquired facilities (systems, data migration, onboarding)Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee dataLeadership & CollaborationSupervise and develop team members across recruiting and payrollServe as the primary escalation point for operational issuesPartner with HR, Finance, Legal, and Operations to ensure alignment and complianceProvide regular updates, performance metrics, and staffing insights to the VPQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred3+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, payroll operations, or a combined HR leadership rolePrior experience in a multi-site or multi-facility healthcare environment strongly preferredExperience managing full-cycle recruitingWorking knowledge of payroll processes, wage and hour regulations, and compliance requirementsExperience with Hireology, Indeed, DataIQ, or comparable ATS and payroll systemsStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesDemonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across departments and leadership levelsBenefits (Full-Time)Health, Dental, and Vision InsuranceAD&D, Short-Term Disability, Cancer, Critical Illness, and additional coverage optionsLife Insurance (Whole and Term policies)Tuition Reimbursement for continued educationPaid Time OffImmediate 401(k) eligibilityStrong corporate support and resourcesEqual Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination and harassment of any kind.
